LOS ANGELES - The campus of the California State University Los Angeles (CSULA) is being evacuated Thursday due to a bomb threat.
The CSULA announced the evacuation around noon, through loud speakers in the campus and Twitter, as a precaution, but did not provide additional information.
Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Diana Figueroa told media that the department's bomb squad has been sent to the campus.
Most of students and staff have been evacuated.
The university, part of the California State University system, currently has about 23,000 students, who are primarily from the greater Los Angeles area.
