US, China to hold strategic dialogue in July

WASHINGTON - The US Treasury Department announced Saturday that the fifth round of the US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue will be held in Washington, DC during the week of July 8-12.
US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew and Secretary of State John Kerry, as President Barack Obama's special representatives, will join the dialogue with respective Chinese co-chairs and members of the Chinese delegation, the Treasury Department said in a statement.
"The Dialogue will focus on addressing the challenges and opportunities that both countries face on a wide range of bilateral, regional and global areas of immediate and long-term economic and strategic interest," the statement said.
