CAIRO - Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi is scheduled to attend the upcoming Arab League Summit in Qatar, official news agency MENA reported Saturday.
During the summit to be held on March 26-27, Morsi is expected to deliver a speech over hot issues in the region, particularly the Syrian crisis and the Palestinian issue, MENA said.
Morsi will also attend the fifth summit of BRICS countries, namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, scheduled on March 26-27 in Durban, South Africa.
The Egyptian president will be accompanied by a high-level ministerial delegation and hold separate talks with participating heads of states on bilateral economic cooperation.
