28 injured in traffic accident in Turkey

ANKARA - A vehicle carrying prisoners overturned due to bad road condition in Central Turkey on Tuesday, injuring 28 people onboard, local newspaper Today's Zaman reported on its website.
The vehicle, transferring the prisoners from Sivas province to Tekirdag province, overturned after skidding on the slippery road in Halimin Hani neighborhood in Sivas, according to the report.
The injured, including 14 security members, 12 convicts and two drivers, have been sent to several local hospitals for treatment, the report said.
