LONDON - British Queen Elizabeth II left the hospital Monday, after being treated for gastroenteritis.
A photo on BBC website showed her dressed in red and walked out of the door, while a BBC report described her as "in pretty good condition and pretty healthy" as she left.
The Queen, who will be 87 next month, was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital Sunday afternoon as "precautionary measure".
A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said her engagements for this week has been cancelled or delayed. It is not clear whether her scheduled visit to Italy will be affected.
Elizabeth II has always been in good health. This is the first time in recent 10 years she is taken to hospital, with the last time being in 2003.
