UAE security forces bust terrorist cell

DUBAI - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) said late Wednesday it busted a terrorist cell in a joint operation with Saudi security forces, according local news agency WAM.
According to the report, the cell planned attacks within the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The detainees were Emirati and Saudi nationalities.
The report did not provide details about where and how many people were arrested.
The UAE rounded up some 60 people this year, blaming them of planning to overthrow the ruling authorities and to establish an Islamic republic.
