DAMASCUS - A "terrorist" blast rocked the district of al-Mazzeh 86 in the Syrian capital Damascus Thursday evening, leaving an undisclosed number of injures and property losses, the state-run SANA news agency said.
The blast rocked an area between a bakery and a school bus stop in al-Mazzeh 86, the report said, adding that details on the casualties are forthcoming.
The blast is the latest one in a series of explosions that have become daily routines recently in the country.
Earlier in the day, one person was killed when a roadside bomb went off near a branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in Damascus.
Syria accuses al-Qaida of carrying out such blasts.
