Two killed in northern Nigeria

KADUNA - Nigerian police in central north Kaduna State on Sunday confirmed the killing of two persons in Zaria area of the state by gunmen at a pub.
State police spokesperson Aminu Lawal told reporters in Kaduna, the state capital, that security operatives were on the trail of the gunmen, adding there were clues that would assist the police in tracking down the killers.
Lawal urged the public to be more security conscious and to promptly report any suspicious characters in their midst.
Security sources told Xinhua that the gunmen came in a vehicle and opened fire on their victims at the pub.
