Toyota's total global car output hits 200m

TOKYO - Toyota Motor Corp. announced Tuesday that its global cumulative vehicle output since its original company, Toyoda Automatic Loom Works Ltd, began production in August 1935 hit 200 million units in June.
Of the 200 million units, 145.21 million were made in Japan, while other 55.12 million were produced overseas, according to the company.
The mostly produced car model under the name Toyota is the Corolla sedan, taking up 39.08 million units by the end of June, said the automaker.
