HOUSTON - A total of 17 school children sustained minor injuries after two school buses collided on the way to summer classes in the Texas city of Dallas, local media reported Tuesday.
The buses, both with about 60 students on board, were hauling students to summer classes at two local high schools, when one rear-ended the other Tuesday morning, local TV channel ABC13 reported.
The injured students, aged from 11 to 16, complained of aches and pains, according to Tim Clark, with the Richardson Independent School District.
Police are trying to determine what caused the low-speed crash, said Clark.
