BAMAKO - Rebel soldiers have seized the presidential palace and arrested some of the ministers in Mali, media report said Thursday.
The whereabouts of President Amadou Toumani Toure are unknown so far, the report said.
The report also said the military authorities are expected to make a televised speech on the clashes.
Malian soldiers occupied Malian national television ORTM in the capital on Wednesday and fired into the air to show their displeasure over treatment of a conflict in the north of the country.
