China sends team to Congo for blast rescue

BEIJING - China sent a work team to Congo Wednesday to rescue and comfort Chinese workers impacted by the blast, which occurred at 8 o'clock on March 4, local time, in Brazzaville, Capital of Republic of Congo.
Yang Zhiqiang, deputy secretary general of Beijing Municipal government led the team formed by members from the Department of Consular Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the municipal government departments and the workers' employer Beijing Construction Engineering Group.
So far, six Chinese workers were killed in the blast.
