Train derailment injures 300 in Argentina

BUENOS AIRES - The derailment of an inter-city train has resulted in the injury of at least 300 people in the Argentine capital city of Buenos Aires early Wednesday, a local emergency rescue official announced.
The accident took place at 0830 local time (1130 GMT) on the Sarmiento line in Buenos Aires. A brake failure caused the derailment, and the train hit Platform No. 2 at the local station.
