SEOUL - Global automaker Volvo recalled 447 passenger cars sold in South Korea due to the possible oil leakage from steering wheel hose, the transportation ministry said Thursday.

The vehicles subject to the recall are the S80 sedans with detective hoses that could lead to leakage of power steering fluid, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs said in a statement.

The models produced between March 8, 2006 and May 16, 2007 will be repaired free of charge starting Friday at any Volvo service center in the nation.
