PARIS - Japan's economic growth will slow this year, said a 2011 Economic Outlook issued Wednesday by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The Paris-based organization said the gross domestic product (GDP) of disaster-hit Japan is expected to fall 0.9 percent in 2011.
It also predicts that the country's economy will see a growth of 2.2 percent in 2012 as reconstruction activities are expected to buoy the economy.
