BEVERLY HILLS, California - Two dresses worn by Princess Diana have sold for a record $276,000 at an auction in Beverly Hills.
|
The auction attracted bidders from around the world, and organizers believe the recent royal wedding between Diana's son, Prince William, and Kate Middleton helped boost the sale price of both dresses.
Princess Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris nearly 14 years ago.
The dresses were designed by Catherine Walker.
