Harper's party won the most seats Monday as Canadians voted in a national ballot, according to projections by the Canadian Broadcasting Corp.

Whether the Conservative Party leader will win the parliamentary majority he has sought remains to be seen. The left-center vote could end up splitting between the New Democrats and Liberals, allowing Harper to eke out a majority.
