CHICAGO - US President Barack Obama and his wife returned to Chicago on Wednesday to support Oprah Winfrey in her talk show and the couple are being interviewed by the famous TV hostess.

The Obama couple, the first lady's mother and Bill Daley, White House chief of staff and also the brother of Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, are appearing together on one of the final episodes of "The Oprah Winfrey show", which is scheduled to be televised on May 2.

It is learned that Oprah offered big help in Obama's 2008 presidential campaign by lending her credibility and celebrity status. She also raised money for Obama and cheered for him at the Democratic National Convention.

The Obamas will leave for fundraising for his second term presidential elections campaign in New York City after a short stay in Chicago.
