F-4 jet crashes in central Turkey

ANKARA - The Turkish Air Forces Command said an F-4 jet crashed in central Turkey on Tuesday, Turkish media reported.

The jet crashed at an air base in the central province of Eskisehir during take-off for a training flight, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported, adding two pilots ejected themselves to safety.

The cause of the crash has not been known yet, and a full investigation into the crash is underway, the report said.
