Three bombs rock NE Nigerian city

LAGOS - Three bomb blasts have hit a northeastern Nigerian city, killing "a number of people", media quoted local police as saying on Monday.
The blast occurred late Sunday ahead of Nigeria's state governorship election slated on Tuesday. It reportedly rocked a hotel tavern and a transport hub, media quoted local police spokesperson as saying.
