CAIRO - Egypt's top prosecutor Abdel Meguid Mahmoud decided on Friday to detain former president Hosni Mubarak for 15 more days, state media reported.

A number of prosecutors will head to the Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital where Mubarak is under arrest to resume questioning with the presence of his lawyer, official news agency MENA said.

The ex-president was hospitalized on April 12, after he suffered a heart attack during questioning by prosecutors, one day before the top prosecutor ordered to detain him and his two sons for 15 days on April 13.
