CAIRO - The Public Prosecution interrogated Sunday Alaa and Gamal, sons of former President Hosni Mubarak, in Tura jail to complete previous interrogations, according to MENA news agency.

The investigations involved illegal deals over the privatization of some companies and the foreign partnerships and receiving commissions for other illegal deals.

Mubarak's sons were questioned on their relation to companies that managed investment funds of some businessmen, MENA quoted the public prosecutor's office as saying.

Mubarak's sons were also accused of forcing businessmen to give them share of their companies in return for facilitating partnerships with foreigners, added MENA.

Interior Minister Mansour al-Eissawi refused to transfer the two from Cairo prison to general prosecution's headquarter to resume investigations for security reasons.

General Prosecutor Abdel Magid Mahmoud has promised to let the public be aware of the results and guaranteed in the same time the confidentiality of the investigations and evidences.

Alaa and Gamal were detained for 15 days in Tura prison in Cairo on Wednesday after leaving the Red Sea resort of Sharm el- Sheikh.
