Earlier Tuesday, the Chinese diplomats also paid tribute to the CPV martyears at the Tower of DPRK-China Friendship in Pyongyang.
The CPV entered the Korean War to help the DPRK people resist US aggression on October 25, 1950, about four months after the conflict broke out. Tens of thousands of CPV soldiers died during the war that ended in 1953.
