5.8-magnitude quake hits offshore Chiapas, Mexico

MEXICO CITY - An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale jolted offshore Chiapas, Mexico, at 06:21:01 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 86.80 km, was initially determined to be at 14.4681 degrees north latitude and 92.3456 degrees west longitude.
