Al-Jazeera TV: Libyan air force bombs protesters

TRIPOLI - The pan-Arab Al-Jazeera TV said the Libyan air force bombed protesters in the capital Tripoli.

The TV, citing eyewitnesses, said protesters were bombed by the air force while they were on their way to a base belongs to the army.

In his televised speech, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's son warned that his father, in power for 42 years, will fight to the end and he would never give up.

"We will fight to the last bullet to the last soldier," Seif al- Islam said.
