High representative for foreign affairs and security policy is due to have talks on behalf of the so-called 5+1 group, including the permanent UN Security Council members the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China, plus Germany.
It will be the first high-level meeting on this issue in more than one year with Iran, which wants next week's negotiations to focus on procedural issues for future talks, rather than on its concrete nuclear plans.
