SCO's prime ministers agree to boost regional co-op

DUSHANBE - Prime ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) met on Thursday and agreed to further regional cooperation within the SCO framework.
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao attended the meeting.
This is the ninth such meeting. The first meeting was held in Almaty in September of 2001. Economic cooperation is atop the meeting's agenda.
Founded in 2001, the SCO groups China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
