Tourism trade show reveals travel trends

The China International Travel Mart was recently staged in Yunnan's provincial capital, Kunming.

Exhibitors from 71 countries and regions participated in the event, which is one of Asia's biggest tourism trade shows.

China National Travel Service Group Corp brought exhibitors who promoted scenic areas, hotels, travel agencies and cruises. The group's Novatrip RV created an on-site recreational-vehicle campsite.

RVs are becoming more popular in China. About 21,000 are registered in the country.

Novatrip RV announced it'll soon release an app enabling tourists to rent RVs in four cities in Yunnan, including Kunming. They can stay in camps along the province's popular road-trip routes.
