The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou unveils state-of-the-art ballroom

The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou unveiled its new 1,200-square-meter pillarless and state-of-the-art Grand Ballroom on Jan 6.

This exciting, 100 million yuan ($14.4 million) project took over 24 months to complete and is definitely the new social icon of Zhujiang New Town. Collectively, The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou features more than 3,300 square meters of banquet and event space, making it a paradise for event planners to hold events of all sizes, including board meetings, product launches, corporate-wide and social celebrations and other high-profile activities.

The overall impression of the new Grand Ballroom is centered on a space that speaks for itself upon guests' entering, through numerous layers of sophisticated crafting and detail. The lobby and pre-function area introduce a warm welcome and foreword ambience through a combination of a layered ivory setting with a touch of natural marble and bronze-glazed details equipped with custom lighting, furniture and carpet.

The facilities feature advanced, sophisticated audiovisual systems with electronic-controlled lighting systems. These include ceiling-controlled LCD projectors, oversized remote-controlled electronic screens, a 80-square-meter high definition LED screen and remote-controlled track ceiling lighting systems to capture the appropriate mood.
