The Canadian province's tourism authority has teamed with Hainan Airlines and will offer a new direct flight connecting Beijing and Calgary.
The flight will fly three times every week from June 30, and four times starting from November.
"The new flight is important for Alberta to promote tourism in China and other Asian regions," says Royce Chwin, CEO of the Alberta tourism authority.
Alberta's western region is flanked by the Rocky Mountains, while there is expansive prairie in the east. Often touted as one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and serves as an ideal getaway for tourists visiting Canada.
