Exploring Alberta
Situated in the heart of Western Canada, Alberta is flanked by the Rocky Mountains to the west and the prairies of Saskatchewan to the east. As it is filled with unique natural wonders, Alberta has always known how to make full use of its resources and has generously displayed them to the world.
Glaciers are not the only thing Alberta has to see, as the capital city of Calgary provides visitors with fascinating city sights. And there’s also Edmonton, which is home to North America’s largest entertainment and shopping center.

For nature-lovers, apart from the glacier scenery, Alberta has an abundance of world-renowned winter sport destinations including Banff and Jasper National Park, located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, where ski enthusiasts can enjoy skiing or snowboarding. Other exceptional nature experiences include walking through the nearby canyons and dog-sledding, or for those who simply want to relax, there’s always the opportunity to gaze at the multi-colored, star-studded night sky.
All in all, when it comes to winter destinations, there aren’t many places that offer more.
