Yuhui Yuan has launched a camellia exhibition in Beijing. The company owns a plantation producing various vegetables and fruits in Beijing's Haidian district.
Camellia is a small evergreen flowering shrub that grows largely in southern parts of China. It requires warm temperature, high humidity, sun, and acidic soils rich in humus.
Most species do not grow well in North China. The exhibition introduces dozens of camellia species from Hunan province, which is famous for its cultivation of camellia. The show will end in mid-May.
