Hainan Airlines will launch a direct route between Beijing and Chicago on Sept 3.

The new flight will offer passengers the comfort of a luxury wide-body jet. It will fly four times a week.

Thai Airways offers a special package for families: One child under 12 will get a free round-trip ticket and free stay-overs of at least two nights. The package is valid from April 1 to Oct 31.

The route is between Shanghai and six tourist cities in Thailand.

Delta Air Lines offers a round-trip ticket from 5,388 yuan ($867) for travelers between Shanghai and Seattle. Tickets must be booked by April 30.

The travel period is from June 18 to 30. A stay in Seattle of five days to one month is required.
