Bilingual love musical
Musical Cho Cho is a Chinese-English bilingual version, a modern adaptation from Puccini's opera Madame Butterfly. It's co-produced by the Arts Center Melbourne and the National Theater of China, starring both top-notch Australian and Chinese performers. It tells a story of a 15-year-old Chinese girl named Butterfly who fell in love with an American captain but ended up in suicide.

Orchestra concert

Chicago Symphony Orchestra is known for its brass music and skills of wind and string. It brings a series of classical music, including Dvorak's Symphony No 5 and selection from Stravinsky's Fairy's Kiss. The conductor Riccardo Muti has cooperated with many world-renowned orchestras and won two Grammy awards for his debut recording with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

Impressionist art
Beijing Art Museum is displaying 166 works by more than 70 world-known impressionist artists, including Edouard Manet, Jean-Francois Millet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Exhibits covers Millet's The Sewer, Manet's A Bar at the Folies-Bergere and Olympia. The works unfold the evolution and development of modern prints in the West between late 19th century and 20th century.
