The suites have neat little private areas which provide cozy retreats that look out over the Hong Kong city landscape. |
The atmosphere is more like a living room, where you can read the papers, relax at breakfast, sip an afternoon tea, or have a glass of wine before dinner. Hotel employees enhance the whole experience by greeting guests by name throughout the duration of their stay.
The Girls' Night In package is ideal for hen parties or a little retreat away from the maddening crowd. If you are in Hong Kong, all you have to do is get off at Causeway Bay MTR station, walk a short way down Jardine's Bazaar and you are there.
The Philippe Starck suites are full of whimsical details that will appeal to the ladies.
The one-bedroom suites have comfortable double beds, but the couch in the living room can easily accommodate another. A little alcove hidden by sheer curtains reveals a window box area that provides another cozy little nest that looks out over the city landscape.
Our suite also had four brightly colored dwarfs that were masquerading as low stools, and they looked as if they had escaped from the Snow White fairy tale.
You can create your own fairy tales here with your favorite gal pals, or opt to watch a fairy tale or two from the choice of chick flicks the hotel has prepared.
When you get hungry, there are complimentary afternoon cakes, all-day soft beverages and fresh juices in the lobby, followed by wine during cocktail hour.
The room is a comfortable place to catch up on gossip, exchange love stories, watch a no-brainer movie, or give each other manicures, pedicures and special facials with the free kits provided. Heck, they'll even bring you popcorn while you watch Pretty Woman.

Guests who buy the Girls' Night In package can also make use of hotel facilities such as the Penthouse Fitness Room.
After an afternoon of girly talk, you may want to hit town for a meal and some dancing. J Plus anticipates that with VIP access to Hong Kong's hottest, private members' clubs, an "insider" ticket to clubs including Dragon-i, Fly and Kee.
Other offers include dining discounts at recommended restaurants, shopping discounts at fashion and lifestyle stores, as well as gift vouchers for spa pampering and salon beauty treatments, including hair spa treatments.
