An expedition group of 40 has returned from Australian inland deserts and the Chinese Kumukuli Desert. The Australia-China Desert Adventure was hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Guangdong New Express Daily to commemorate the 40th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries. It is an approach to promote cultural communication between the two nations by integrating environmental protection, scientific research and expedition. Adventurers conducted scientific research and ecology activities from August to November. Their results will be presented in books and forums to come.
