Piano cultural activity themed on 'Play me, I'm yours' launched in Hangzhou

Famous young pianist Li Yundi (R) and British artist Luke Jerram participate in the launch ceremony of a public benefit activity in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang province, Nov 5, 2012. A total of 18 decorated pianos is placed in 18 public areas in Hangzhou for local citizens to play from Nov 5 to Nov 15. The piano cultural activity themed on "Play me, I'm yours" was initiated by British artist Luke Jerram in 2008. Reaching over two million people worldwide, more than 700 pianos have been installed in 30 cities across the globe through this activity. [Photo/Xinhua] |
