Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is an important festival grandly celebrated in India. It goes on for five continuous days, with the third day celebrated as the main Diwali festival. On that day people set off fireworks and light up candles all around their house. They perform Laxmi Puja in the evening and seek divine blessings from the Goddess of Wealth. The festival is never complete without an exchange of gifts. People present Diwali gifts to all near and dear ones. This year's festival starts on Nov 13. Find out more on www.diwalifestival.org.
