China Central Television and Anhui Satellite TV is filming a six-episode documentary about Yellow Mountain, one of the country's most beloved tourist destinations.
Located in East China's Anhui province, Yellow Mountain is well-known for its four signature sceneries - the "cloud sea", pine trees, stones and waterfalls - all of which will be depicted in the documentary.
The mountain has long been an inspiration for painters, photographers and poets. The surrounding community is the hometown of many scholars and artists. The documentary will also explore the mountain as a hub for the arts and literature.
It is expected for release in middle 2013.
