For the past three decades, Altfield Gallery has showcased indigenous 18th- and 19th-century Chinese furnishings handpicked from provinces with a strong tradition in carpentry and craftsmanship. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, founders David Halperin and Amanda Lack Clark present the Ming pieces that best exemplify excellent design, carving, material and ornamentation. On display are armchairs, side tables, storage cabinets, lounge beds and decorative boxes.
10 am-7 pm Mon-Sat; 11 am-5 pm Sun, until Oct 15. Altfield Gallery, 248-9 Prince's Building, 10 Chater Road, Central. 852-2537-6370
