The 6th Grape Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off in Hangu District of Tianjin Binhai New Area on Sept 1, and will last until Oct 8.
The opening ceremony of the festival included art performances, a grape eating contest, an exhibit of children's paintings of grapevines, a tourist goods exhibition and photo shoot.
During the festival, tourists can experience what it feels like to be a grape farmer by picking grapes in vineyards, living and dining in farm houses, and visiting nearby scenic spots such as the Beitang Ancient Town, the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, the Binhai Aircraft Carrier Theme Park, and the Qilihai Nature Reserve in Ninghe County.
