Before the kids head back to school, take them to see blooming trumpet vines, lilies and Hong Kong's own bauhinia in all their various forms. Maybe you will spot colorful scarlet minivet in flight or a Japanese pipistrelle, a small bat common to southern China. Kadoorie Farm and Botanical Gardens is set within 148 hectares on the northern slope of Tai Mo Shan and includes a number of meandering paths that are home to a host of floral, fauna and fowl that the whole family can explore.
