UNESCO World Heritage site Lijiang witnesses more tourists

The old town of Lijiang, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a history of more than 800 years, was formally licenced as the national 5A tourism attraction spot, the top one among China's tourism ranking system, on July 27, 2011. During the first six months of 2012, in total 8.0934 million people visited Lijiang, increasing by 55.93 percent year on year.
