Beer fish is one of local specialties with spicy and delicious fish. The combined scent of beer and fish will stir up your appetite.
The fish used are primarily fresh water fish. Lijiang River is the main area for fishing. The fish will be first fried with raw tea oil from mountainous areas of Northern Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The dish will be ready after braised with first-rate Guilin beer.
However, Yangshuo beer fish loses its original flavor outside Yangshuo. It is only in Yangshuo that people have opportunities to enjoy the authentic taste of beer fish.
