Special fund helps poor mothers

The China Foundation for Human Rights Development has set up a special fund to support mothers from poverty-stricken areas. The fund will be used for their medical treatments and trainings.
Fundraising events involving celebrities will be organized. The fund was launched recently and organizers delivered its first batch of ophthamic surgical devices to mothers with cataracts in Shandong and Hebei provinces.
