Ride a bicycle, get some fresh air, feast your eyes on the greenery and share your ideas about low-carbon lifestyle with foreign friends.
On April 18, the US consulate in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, together with Bike Guangzhou, a local NGO, will organize an outdoor cycling activity in the city's higher education mega center.
Participants get to ride on greenery-lined paths in the mega center and tour around the Biology Island, where they can appreciate the trees and blossoming flowers along the way and have fun passing through bridges of Lingnan style over breathtaking lakes. It's a good way to celebrate the annual Earth Day, on April 22.
4:30-7:30 pm, April 18. Gather at the Exit B of Higher Education Mega Center North Station of subway line 4 to get public bicycles.
