Sky Cafe opened at Beijing International Hotel on May 26 and is offering a 20-percent discount. The Taiwan chef is responsible for an international buffet, featuring Chinese, Western and South Asian cuisine. Representative dishes include abalone and shark fin soup, oyster congee and Alaskan crab cup. The lunch buffet costs 198 yuan a person, and the dinner costs 258 yuan.

Fantastic fillings

Private Room Chinese Restaurant at Park Hyatt Hotel proffers its own style of rice dumplings, featuring high-end ingredients used in stuffing, such as Dalian abalone and tender Australian beef, matched with chestnuts and scallops. The IFW restaurant introduces rice dumplings stuffed with traditional ingredients.

Yao Chi Chinese Restaurant at Grand Millennium Beijing offers more than 60 varieties of authentic Cantonese dim sum prepared by a Hong Kong chef.
