Huge 'Dragon' soars from cole flower field in SW China

A huge rendition of the Chinese character "dragon," consisting of assorted plants, is seen at a cole flower field at Longgong scenic area in Anshun city, southwest China's Guizhou Province. In recent years, local peasants have planted cole and broad beans in the shape of the traditional Chinese character "dragon" in the renowned scenic zone Longgong of Anshun. The script of the character is from famous calligraphist Huai Su (737-799) from the Tang dynasty. The whole work takes up more than 80,000 square meters. [Photo: chinanews.com] |
