"Insurance is of great and fundamental importance to athletes, as injuries will bring about huge challenges to their careers," said Lang.
The agreement was signed in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, where Lang also paid a visit to a local primary school to give lectures after the Rio Olympic Games.
Lang, with a 43-year playing and coaching career, was the head coach of Evergrande women's volleyball team from 2009 to 2013.
"I have had a long association with Evergrande. The company's broad vision both in business and sport have impressed me a lot," Lang said.
