Zheng Saisai wins in Grand Slam debut

NEW YORK - 20-year-old Chinese rising star Zheng Saisai moved into US Open second round after beating Stefanie Voegele from Switzerland 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 in her Grand Slam debut on Monday.
Zheng, who used to be a doubles player, regarded Monday's match as the most important one in her career.
"I failed so many times in the qualifications before, so it's really a joy for me to win my first Grand Slam match," said Zheng after the match.
Zheng was to meet the 14th seed Lucie Safarova in the second round.
